On November 8, CRIA and the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW) co-organized a stakeholder consultation titled “Scaling Durable CDR Solutions in India through Carbon Market Mechanisms.”. The event focused on integrating durable CDR solutions into the Indian Carbon Market while addressing principles, financing mechanisms, policy alignment, and demand creation. A special address by Ravi Shankar Prajapati, Joint Director, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, highlighted the importance of collaboration in advancing durable CDR. A Policy Issue Brief will be released soon based on the deliberations.
